About Us

Welcome to our 8-year journey at The Dawn Day Care Center - a Christian Faith-based ECD Centre! Since our establishment on January 2, 2013, we have continuously grown, providing excellent service to our children and parents alike. With a strong commitment to nurturing little minds, we take pride in our accomplishments over the years.

Throughout this 9-year span, we have enrolled 250 children and successfully prepared over 30 children for Grade 1 in our local primary schools. Our dedication to excellence extends beyond education; we have been offering transport services since 2013 to ensure convenience for our families.
At The Dawn, we prioritize continuous improvement, equipping our center with relevant learning equipment and providing ongoing staff training and development. As a community-based and recognized center, we actively contribute to the welfare of the community, even serving as a voting station during elections. Our collaboration with other ECDs and creches in the area further strengthens our mission to create a supportive and enriching environment for all children under our care.

REGISTRATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS

● Our NPO No: 115-073

● We are fully rezoned as the ECD & Educational Centre by Ekurhuleni Municipality.
Authorised Centre to enrol 54 Children of ages between 3 Months—6 years.

●Registration with Local department of Health, Health Certificate and Health permit.

●Recognised by Provincial Department of Health, monitoring our nutrition and menus.

●In the application process with Provincial Social Development, and Department of Education.
Supported by local health clinic for all the vaccination drives offered to children.
● Covid– 19 Protocol compliant.
